“Recovery isn’t something you have to face alone. There’s hope, and there’s a community ready to walk this journey with you.”
Arizona offers many resources to help people struggling with addiction, alcoholism, and mental health issues. Together AZ is committed to highlighting these valuable services. This month, we’re excited to feature Brayden Younghusband founder of Revive Recovery Centers, in Mesa AZ.
Revive Recovery Center was inspired by my journey in recovery, passion for this field and helping others. I saw a growing need for accessible and trustworthy providers in our community. I set out to open a program that offers innovative, accessible, and exceptional clinical treatment for those struggling with mental health and/or substance use. My goal was to create a space where people could not just recover, but truly rebuild their lives with the right support and tools. Growing up I always aspired to be an entrepreneur, so I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to open Revive and be helpful to our local community.
Yes, I identified significant gaps in the recovery landscape, particularly the need for providers who focus on the root causes of mental health and/or substance use. I wanted to create a program that not only treated the symptoms but addressed the underlying “Why” behind the diagnosis. With Revive, I wanted to create a space that provides compassionate, individualized care, combines evidence-based practices with holistic approaches, and prioritizes mental health as a cornerstone of recovery. This allows us to help clients heal at a deeper level and build a strong foundation for lasting change.
We offer a truly holistic and personalized approach to care. Our services include unique modalities like yoga, sound healing, reiki, and physical fitness to address the mind-body connection. We provide a trauma-focused program that dives deep into healing the root causes. Additionally, we offer a virtual program for those who need flexibility while maintaining access to high-quality care. At Revive we prioritize individualized attention, including two individual therapy sessions per week, to ensure clients receive the focused support they need to heal and grow.
When I was struggling with mental health issues and substance use, the idea of asking for help felt daunting and even impossible at times. But looking back, reaching out was the most important decision I ever made.
My advice is to trust that you’re worth it. It’s okay to feel scared or unsure, it’s a normal part of the process. Just take one small step, whether it’s making a call or talking to someone you trust. Recovery isn’t something you have to face alone. There’s hope, and there’s a community ready to walk this journey with you.
Yes, we offer specialized programming and a safe place for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Being that we are an LGBTQIA+ owned treatment center, it is vital that we offer a safe place with specialized program options so all people can have an opportunity to heal and recover.
Our goal is to offer not just recovery, but a place of belonging, understanding, and growth for everyone who walks through our doors. In 2025 we will be launching a revamped and dedicated track for LGBTQIA+ members of our community.
