Being part of the growing community of addiction awareness, advocacy, and prevention has given my life profound meaning. Early in sobriety I could not have imagined the fulfillment it would bring. Not truly understanding what recovery was, I assumed it would be a very boring and stale existence without laughs, fun or love. And oh, how wrong I was.
Through the years, I’ve met countless people on this path, from my initial first steps to the present day. This is an incredible community of men and women I consider family. They have embraced me with open hearts and unwavering support for a very long time! And I will continue to pay it forward, because there’s no other way to truly live.
Patience, fellowship, humility, and honesty brought me to where I am today and I am deeply grateful. For any addict or alcoholic each day sober — really is a miracle!
I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to all our contributors and advertisers for another remarkable year. Your invaluable support enables us to continue inspiring hope and fostering recovery to our community. It is truly an honor to collaborate with such compassionate organizations.
