Purse-Impressions, a local nonprofit organization, will host its 6th “Pop-Up” Purse & Jewelry Sale Fundraiser event on Friday, February 28 and Saturday, March 1 at the Holland Center in north Scottsdale.

The event will feature over 500 new and gently used purses including designer brands, jewelry and scarves for sale along with raffle baskets, silent auction and a purse donation drive to benefit the nonprofit. There is no entry fee, however patrons are encouraged to bring a donation of purses, jewelry or hygiene products.

Purse-Impressions celebrates the accomplishments and milestones for individuals recovering from alcohol and drug treatment programs. This is accomplished by gifting a fresh start purse or backpack that allows women and men to begin recovery with dignity, strength and the knowledge that someone cares about them.

“Our ‘Pop-Up’ fundraiser events have been a huge success,” said Patricia Brusha, president of Purse-Impressions Charity Boutique. “We are excited to showcase numerous brands for resale like Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Betsy Johnson along with our special selection of Montana West purses, to name a few.”

The charity has donated 7,000 purses and backpacks to recovering addicts at 18 rehab facilities in Maricopa County. Additionally, they support over 400 children living in sober living treatment centers.

“I founded Purse-Impressions to transform the tragedy and heartbreak of losing my 28-year-old daughter Courtney to addiction into inspiration and compassion for others who are overcoming addiction in their own lives,” Brusha said.   For information on the fundraiser or volunteer opportunities, email patricia@purse-impressions.com.
