2nd Annual Golf4Recovery Invitational to Benefit notMykid May 13 at The Phoenician Golf Course

Foursomes and Sponsorship Opportunities Still Available

The Meadows Institute is hosting their 2nd Annual Golf4Recovery Invitational at The Phoenician Golf Course, Scottsdale, Arizona on Friday, May 13, 2022, starting at 7:30 AM and will benefit notMykid, a nonprofit organization based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Golf4Recovery is an annual fundraiser bringing together a wide variety of professionals from the recovery community for a bit of competition, and more importantly, golf for a cause! Proceeds from this year’s invitational will go to the school and community-based programs run by notMykid.

Since the arrival of COVID-19 and the growing mental health crisis impacting children, the need for high-impact prevention education and early intervention programs focused on substance use, bullying, relationships, body image, mental health, and internet safety for youth and their families has risen tremendously. The services provided by notMYkid strive to enhance resiliency, confidence, and character; and educate youth and adults on where to go and how to ask for help if they or someone they know is struggling with a mental or behavioral health issue.

“Our first-ever event raised over $30,000, benefitting frontline healthcare workers through Banner Health Foundation,” said Carrie Steffensen, Vice President of The Meadows Institute. “We have over 100 golfers registered for this year’s invitational and support from our generous sponsors,” she added. “We still have a few sponsorship opportunities open and I would love to fill them, so we maximize our donation to notMYkid.”

Registration for golfers is $225 per player or $900 for a foursome. Included in the fee are green fees and cart, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments on the course, gift bag, awards ceremony, contests, raffles, and prizes. Sponsorship opportunities range from $10,000 for a presenting sponsorship to $2500 for an on-par sponsorship and include one golf foursome for the tournament. Other sponsorship opportunities are available at $750 for a SWAG bag sponsorship.

If you are interested in registering for this year’s Golf4Recovery Invitational, go to www.themeadowsinstitute.org. Please contact Carrie Steffensen with The Meadows Institute at 602-740-2565 for information about becoming a sponsor.

The Meadows Institute was established in 2021 by Meadows Behavioral Healthcare to give HOPE to those impacted by addiction, trauma, and mental health issues, provide practical HELP for individuals, communities, and professionals, and champion HEALING so as many as possible can achieve sustainable, lasting recovery.
